Price & payment
How much does FireKiss cost?
$55 per adult and $30 per kid (12 and under), with a 10-adult minimum. Tax is added, and card payments include a small service fee — ask about our cash price. See your exact price in about a minute.
Is there a travel fee?
We start from two places: Hampton (Coastal Virginia) and Fredericksburg. Travel is $50 for parties within 50 miles of the closer one. Past that, it's $50 plus $2 a mile — so a party 70 miles out pays $90. It's worked out from your address and shown in your price before you book.
What does the deposit do?
A $50 deposit holds your date and counts toward your total. It is non-refundable. The rest is paid on party day.
Is the tip included?
No. Tips go straight to your chef. Most hosts tip 20–25% of the food total — your invoice shows easy options.
Booking
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks is plenty for most dates. Summer weekends, holidays and December fill up six to eight weeks out, so book early for those.
What's the guest minimum?
10 adults. Smaller groups are welcome — you're just billed at the minimum. For 30+ guests we send more than one chef.
Can I change my guest count?
Guest count and food changes are welcome up to 7 days before the party. Inside the last 7 days the food order is locked. Text us the change and we update your invoice.
Can I book last minute?
Sometimes. If a chef is free, the booking page will let you book. If it's full, text us and we'll check.
Party day
What happens at a FireKiss party?
Your chef arrives about 30 minutes early to set up. Then it's showtime — fire, tricks, jokes — and dinner cooked right in front of your guests. Plan on about two hours start to finish.
What do you bring?
The chef, the grill, the propane, all the food, and our house yum yum sauce. We can also bring tables with linens, chairs and plate settings — add them when you book.
How much space do you need?
About a 10 × 10 foot spot for the grill, plus room for your guests to sit around it. A patio, deck, driveway or yard works great.
What if it rains?
Your chef cooks rain or shine — plan a covered spot like a patio, garage, carport or tent.
Do you need power or water?
No. The grill runs on propane and we bring everything we need.
Food & sake
What food do guests get?
Each guest picks 2 proteins — teriyaki chicken, New York strip, shrimp, salmon, scallops or tofu — with fried rice and hibachi vegetables. Filet mignon and lobster are upgrades.
Can you handle allergies?
Yes. Tell us when you book. Allergy plates are cooked first on a clean surface. Our sauces contain soy, so flag soy or wheat allergies.
Can I add more food?
Yes — extra proteins, noodles, fried rice, gyoza, edamame and mochi donuts. See Extras.
Can we have a sake party?
Yes — it might be the best part of the night. FireKiss brings the sake, and your chef pours it straight from the bottle, leads the kanpai countdown and gets the whole table playing. Ask for the sake party when you book. More sake, more happy.
