We handle the cooking
You handle the playlist.
Cooking right on the sand is a different story. Many public beaches don't allow open flames or need a permit, and hauling a grill through soft sand needs help. Tell us the exact spot and we'll help you figure out what's possible before you book.
Most beach parties end up on the deck or driveway of a beach house — same ocean air, none of the permit headaches.
- Check beach rules for open flames before you plan on the sand.
- The cooking spot must be reachable on a level path with no steps. If there are stairs or a steep hill, the host provides help carrying the equipment.
- Wind is real — plan a sheltered corner.
- Book 3+ weeks ahead in summer.
Before you book.
Can you cook right on the sand?
Sometimes. It depends on the beach's rules and permits, and we need help carrying gear across the sand. Tell us the spot first.
What about wind?
Pick a sheltered side of the house or deck. Your chef will set up with the wind in mind.
What if it rains?
Your chef cooks rain or shine — plan a covered spot like a patio, garage, carport or tent.
Do you go to Sandbridge?
Yes. Travel is priced from your address and shown before you book.
